The Passion’s Path, Week 2: Mother Mary
“And a sword will pierce your heart” Luke 2:35
Mary first held Jesus in joy; years later, she held Him in sorrow. From the manger to the Cross, she knew that love would cost her everything—but she still said yes.
Trust is not about avoiding pain. It is about believing that God is still working, even when our hearts are breaking.
This Lent, let’s reflect:
➡️ Do I trust God even when His plan leads through suffering?
➡️ Where is He asking me to surrender my fears?
➡️ Can I, like Mary, hold both joy and sorrow in faith?
Mary shows us that trust is not easy, but it is worth it. May we walk this path with her, learning to trust even when we do not understand.
