The Passion’s Path, Week 4: Daughters of Jerusalem
Grief is often something we want to escape. We distract ourselves, push it away, or try to "move on" before we are ready. But Jesus tells us that those who mourn are blessed—not because grief is easy, but because God is present in it.
He does not promise that we will never experience sorrow. But He does promise that mourning will not be wasted. He promises comfort, even when healing feels far away.
God does not rush us through grief. He sits with us in it. And where He is, healing follows.
