How Do You Carry Your Cross?

How Do You Carry Your Cross?

The Passion’s Path, Week 3: Simon of Cyrene

Some crosses are visible—illness, hardship, grief. Others are hidden—doubts, loneliness, silent struggles. But every cross, no matter its weight, asks something of us.

Do we resist and complain? Do we carry it grudgingly, only because we must? Or do we embrace it, allowing it to shape us into something greater?

Simon of Cyrene carried Jesus' cross for only a short time, yet that moment changed him. What if we, too, let our crosses transform us? Instead of asking, Why me? what if we prayed, Lord, what are You teaching me through this?
This Lent, reflect: How do you carry your cross? With resentment, resignation, or surrender? Let it be a path toward grace.
