Like a lion, truth stands firm.

Like a lion, truth stands firm.

The Passion’s Path, Week 1: Pontius Pilate

Truth is not fragile. It does not bend to opinion, nor does it weaken under pressure. Like a lion, truth stands firm, unshaken by human fear or manipulation.

But while truth needs no defense, we need the courage to live by it. Pilate had the truth before him, yet he chose compromise. He feared the consequences of standing firm, so he let others decide. How often do we do the same?

This Lent, let us reflect:
🦁 Do we trust in truth’s power, or do we feel the need to control it?
🦁 Do we stand by what is right, or do we remain silent out of fear?
🦁 Are we willing to follow truth, even when it costs us something?

Truth is bold. Truth is free. And when we choose to live in it, we are free too.
